Release of EASE - 2004
ATK
goes live with leading-edge solution
Rockville, MD, December 12, 2003 – OCR Services,
Inc. announces the latest release of its flagship and industry
standard Export Automation Software Essential (EASE). EASE –
2004 is an enterprise wide export and import process management
solution based on J2EE technology. It is both platform and
database independent. The initial customer for this release is ATK
(Alliant Techsystems).
EASE 2004 helps companies streamline their entire export
process with automatic compliance checks to minimize any export
control violations. It is compatible with the US Department of
State DTRADE pilot program that allows you to submit export
license applications and agreements electronically with
attachments for technical data and with AESDirect. Denied
party screening has been completely automated with additional
functionality in audit trail tracking and reporting, reporting of
“red-flags” and their disposition, and enhancements to the
‘Soundex’ based fuzzy logic.
“EASE – 2004 has allowed us to streamline our entire
export process with ease. It has reduced the processing time of
our Department of State licenses significantly”, said Paul
Arseth, Manager, Corporate Export/Import Compliance, ATK. “We
have been very pleased with the overall efficiency of the solution
and the impressive OCR customer support.”
